Introduction to PEARL iQuiz

PEARL iQuiz is a comprehensive educational quiz platform that enables teachers to create, manage, and analyze quizzes while allowing students to take quizzes and track their progress.

Getting Started

Account Creation and Login

  1. Visit the PEARL iQuiz platform
  2. Click "Sign Up" if you're a new user
  3. Enter your email address, password, first name, and last name
  4. Select your role (Teacher or Student)
  5. Click "Create Account"

Navigation

The top navigation bar provides access to:

  • Dashboard
  • Quiz Creation (Teachers only)
  • Class Management (Teachers only)
  • User Manual
  • Sign Out

The Pearl AI Hub link connects you to additional educational resources

Teacher Features

Dashboard

Teachers have access to a comprehensive dashboard showing:

  • Total number of quizzes created
  • Active student count
  • Average quiz scores
  • List of all created quizzes with analytics
  • List of all classes with student counts

Creating Quizzes

Two methods are available for quiz creation:

1. AI-Powered Quiz Generation

  1. Click "Create New Quiz"
  2. Fill in the quiz configuration (subject, grade level, learning outcome, quiz type, number of questions, difficulty level)
  3. Click "Generate Quiz"
  4. Review and edit the generated questions
  5. Click "Save" to store changes
  6. Click "Publish" when ready for students

2. Manual Quiz Upload

  1. Select "Upload Quiz" option
  2. Prepare a text file following the template format
  3. Click "Upload File" and select your prepared text file
  4. Review imported questions
  5. Click "Save" to store the quiz
  6. Click "Publish" when ready for students

Student Features

Dashboard

Taking Quizzes

  1. Access the quiz via provided methods
