  • Identify numeral for quantities and vice versa.
  • Identify error/s in a counting sequence up to 20.
  • Count with meaning to 20 by building quantities; and matching quantity with numeral.
  • Orally sequence numbers to 100 by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s.
  • Count backwards from 20 by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s.
  • Count backwards from 100 by 5s and 10s.
  • Use Number lines (vertical and horizontal) and number charts to support counting and skip counting.
  • Counts by 2s, and 5s to find a total in multiplicative contexts (repetitive addition).
  • Quantify sets up to 20 and state that the last number said is the amount counted.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards using numbers and counting in various contexts.
